Here are answers to some of the most common questions we get asked about Done On The Road.

We completely believe in building a community of collaboration and opportunity. For this reason, listing requests and receiving proposals on Done On The Road is completely free. The traveller that completes your request might charge you a surcharge depending on how you choose to pay them (such as a card payment fee if they have an eftpos machine).

The short answer is, we’re not. We will need Done On The Road to make money at some point and we have ideas about how to but our promise to you is that the basic functionality of listing requests and services will always be free.

For now we are just totally focused on growing Done On The Road as fast as possible because we know that the more travellers that join, the better it will be for everyone.

This can depend on your location and the type of service you need, but we’ve seen requests fulfilled within a single day. Of course not all requests will be filled that fast so get in touch with us if you need a hand and we can help spread the word.

The best way to use the platform is to sign up and list a service with your location. Make sure you login and update the location if you change areas.
