About the seller
I am a fully qualified physiotherapist who completed my Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Melbourne in 2013. My husband (who is an accountant) and I have been living on the road since 2019 during which I have worked in private practices, public hospitals, and aged care settings all across the country.One issue that we frequently saw when working in rural and remote places was the significant lack of access to our professions for the people living in these areas. Many people were driving hours for a consultation and not getting the consistent follow-up they needed for best outcomes. Then one day, we said to each other, “Why don’t we just bring our services to these places?” So, the idea of Australia Wide Physio and Finance was born.I am passionate about helping people achieve their health goals through a holistic approach to well-being, whether the goal is to complete an Ironman, muster cattle, or be able to run around with the grandkids. I love not only helping to improve someone’s pain and mobility but also to give them the knowledge and tools to maintain their progress and self-manage their injury or condition long-term. I have additional training in Dry Needling, Pilates, Strength and Conditioning, Vestibular (Vertigo) conditions, and more.

What services do you offer?
I offer a wide range of physiotherapy, massage, and exercise treatment options for a multitude of conditions. Please have a look at my services page on awphysio.au to determine which service is most appropriate for you.
Do I need a referral to see a physio?
No, you do not need a referral to see a physiotherapist. However, if you have been referred by a GP or other health practitioner, please email or bring to your appointment any relevant referral letters, scan reports, or other paperwork.
Do you offer private health rebates? How much of a rebate will I get?
Yes I do! If you have physiotherapy as part of your extras cover on your private health insurance, you can claim back for physiotherapy, massage, and individual exercise sessions. After your session, you will receive an invoice which you can use to claim your rebate online through your insurance provider. The amount of rebate depends on your insurance and level of cover. Please contact your provider to determine specific rebate amounts.
Do you offer rebates under any other programs (Medicare, DVA, Workcover, etc)?
No, I do not at this point but I hope to in the future.
How long is a session?
An initial physiotherapy session is up to 60 minutes and subsequent sessions 30-45 minutes, depending on the complexity of the issue(s). Massage sessions can be 30, 60, or 90 minutes long depending on what you choose.
